Material Process

Mother sheet production process consists of weighting mixing process, melting process, forming/annealing process and cutting/loading process.
Raw materials are blended into a glass composition, which is later melted. The molten glass is then solidified to form glass sheet. Glass sheet is subsequently cut into mother glass. The mother glass is then checked for defective and later transferred to the Fabrication process.
Glass substrates of up to 0.01mm thickness accuracy can be produced. Current thickness of glass substrates produced: 0.5mm, 0.63mm, 0.7mm thickness. |

Fabrication Process
Glass substrate is cut and chamfered according to customers' requirements with high technology glass cutting and chamfering machine. Glass dimensions are controlled to microns accuracy using this high technology.
In ensuring its accuracy and quality, ASA dedicated staff conduct regular inspection of the cutting and chamfering quality.
Evaluation Process
The Automatic Evaluation machine in a Class 100 Cleanroom environment automatically inspects the glass substrates. This breakthrough innovation by ASA has performed a 100% inspection of the glass substrate.
The substrates are further inspected at regular intervals to ensure only optimum quality product are produced for delivery. |
