We firmly believe in ASA’s fundamental aim of being a good corporate citizen within the community towards the realization of a truly prosperous society. To achieve this aim of operating in harmony with the environment, we as the leading Glass Substrate manufacturer, strive to use resources efficiently and are committed to:

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY (OHS) POLICY STATEMENT

AvanStrate is committed to the prevention of injury and ill health in our work environment. We consistently identify and review specific OHS objectives that are relevant and beneficial to our glass manufacturing facilities, processes and products to minimize OHS risks to the individuals and corporate.

We comply with applicable OHS laws and other requirements at our minimum threshold of OHS performance, and we strive, where feasible, to surpass the minimum compliance requirements.

We work to develop within each individual employee a sense of personal responsibility for OHS. We support this responsibility with appropriate education, training, financial and other resources. Each management and staff member plays an important part in the continual adherence and improvements of our OHS policy and procedures.

We diligently partner with our customers, suppliers and contractors to optimize OHS management and performance in our products, operations and facilities.

We actively foster open communication with internal and external stakeholders to review our OHS management performance and periodically recognizing that this is essential to the continual improvement of our OHS practices, and successful cultivation of a corporate OHS culture.
